Kindergarten Christmas Party

This was the girls' last full day at their first school (sniffle, sniffle...).

But it was their Christmas party and they had an especially great time because their Aunt Jane from NY came to it!
Give me some M & M's and I'll be good!Andrew and his "friend", Hunter. Hunter was always so sweet to Andrew when he came into the classroom with me. It was so cute, he'd tell Andrew his address and phone number and say, "you should come over, I could teach you a lot."

Breakfast with Santa at the children's museum

Andrew is very serious in these pictures, explaining to Santa that he wants a space station. The girls were pretty amused with him!
Once Andrew was done, the girls were able to tell Santa what they would like him to bring. Gianna said, "surprise me" and Isabella asked for a princess dress.
Andrew had come back to mommy, but ran back up to Santa for a bag of goodies from Mrs. Claus!Isabella is working on the ornament she made...Doctors at work...Hmmm, a sign we will have more twins in our family? (Maybe in many, MANY years!)During the Christmas music performance, Isabella found the best seat in the house!!
Now for the gingerbread house decorating!Does anyone else notice candy cigarettes in there?!? I didn't think they made them anymore. But the kids had no idea what they were supposed to be.I don't know why, but I thought it was so cute at the end watching the 3 of them wash in their own sink...

The Nutcracker 2011

I'm finally getting to a post from December, hopefully more to come soon. The girls and I went to the Nutcracker again and they loved it! Afterwards the lobby was filled with tables and tables of homemade cookies for everyone!
Like last year, they were enamored with "Clara" from the Nutcracker and wanted to give her a hug.

Thanksgiving

We had a nice Thanksgiving this year with our friends, Tim and Theresa. Not a whole lot of pictures, but you get the idea, eat, eat, eat... sleep!

The Thanksgiving play...
Isabella is an American Indian and Gianna is a turkey.
The Indians say "shhhhhhh..."
Gianna leaning forward to peek at us!
Mike helping Isabella make her Thanksgiving bracelet.
Gianna was the "star student" of the week,
and therefore very proud to be the line leader in front of us!
