Family picture on Christmas

I have more Christmas pictures to add, eventually, but Barb took this of us on Christmas and it was easy to put on here today.

Isabella

These were from a week ago today. Betty, the girls' speech therapist, was here to see Gianna, so Isabella and I went in the our bedroom and watched cartoons and ate cereal. Not the clearest pictures, but I love the little slippers sitting beside her. She insists on taking all shoes / socks / slippers / winter boots off!

While I'm at it...

I thought I'd share another site you might be interested in. It's IdealBite.com. As they say, "Ideal Bite offers bite-sized ideas for light green living." Simple things that don't inconvenience you. I love feeling like I'm doing something for the planet. Today's tip included the link to the Microsoft petition.

Change the Margins

Please go to this site: This is such a great idea. It's simple, as most great ideas are. It's a petition to Microsoft to reduce the standard margins in Word. It's true, most of us are just lazy enough to leave the margins as they are, so changing the standard could save so much paper (ie birds, squirrels, and other cute critters!) Please check it out and sign it!

Thanksgiving Parade

We took the girls to the local Thanksgiving Parade. Nothing scared them like we thought it would, they seemed to be entertained by it.

We met our friends Paula and Pat and their son, Jaden there. They helped out a lot by taking turns holding the girls. Don't know what this look on Gianna's face means! Real reindeer!
And the grand poobah, Santa Claus!

We took the girls to see (this) Santa Claus yesterday and he explained why he rode his motorcycle instead of his sleigh. It turns out the sleigh they use every year was unavailable. Let's hope it becomes available to Santa by December 24th!

Stunt girls...

The girls were doing this with one foot in the air but of course I didn't get that picture. Anyway, you get the idea. What one does, the other has to try, and they have double the brain power to come up with crazy 2-year old kinds of ideas!

Lovin' our birthday gifts

Thank you to everyone for the girls' birthday gifts. I hope you've all gotten our thank you notes by now!

The girls loved everything!

Here they are with their bounce and spin zebras from Aunt Barb and Uncle Dave:

And with their bunny slippers from Grandma B...
