Gianna can put away the pancakes!

Here is Gianna with a pancake this morning.
And of course she finished it and wanted more!

Today was Andrew's first day of preschool!

Showing off the card he made for his teacher...

Gotta jump of backwards too!

Getting help from his teacher hanging up his backpack...

With his very sweet teacher...

And this is how we left, with Andrew focusing on Play Doh. Mike and I waited for him to get upset that we were leaving, but he only looked slightly annoyed that we were still standing in the doorway whenever he looked up!

Later that afternoon...

His first day wiped him out!

Andrew's animal parade - 4th birthday!

Opening gift from Isabella - Simba from The Lion King. He likes to make a face and repeat a line Simba says in that movie.

Card and gift from Gianna. She chose for him a Star Wars figurine. As Mike pointed out, his first action figure!

Play Doh and Play Doh tools from Brian and Melissa - a definite hit as we already have played with them!

Adorable outfit and Caillou book from Aunt Jane! I think the face tells you he was quite happy!

Super Hero in a Box from Mommy and Daddy...

Oh boy, is this thing ever loud!!!!

Out to dinner...

I don't want to pose, I need to RUN!!!
There are lives to save and candles to blow out!Happy birthday, my sweet boy.

The Olympics

I was so excited for the Olympics, we made some crafts we found online. The kids weren't that thrilled to have their pictures taken as they were waiting to open their gold medals - inside the medals were cookies from Martha Stewart recipe called Thousand-Layer Chocolate Cookies. I should have taken pictures of them, but they got eaten pretty quickly! I was excited to try them because I think most chocolate chip cookies have too much chocolate, in this recipe I could control the amount of chocolate chunks I put in. That being said, I actually put in too few. They were quite edible just the same! We are LOVING the Olympics! Gianna loves the equestrian events, no surprise there!
