Car Talk Jokes

Does anyone else love Car Talk? I LOVE LOVE LOVE that show! Anyway, last week they did some corny jokes that really cracked me up, maybe it's the sleep deprivation, who knows!?!?

#1

A doctor always heads to a restaurant after working, which is usually around 5PM. He always orders a hazelnut daiquiri before heading home. The waiters and waitresses always prepare the drink ahead of time because they always know the doctor will show up. One night a waiter noticed that there were no more hazelnuts left. Instead, he whipped up a hickory drink instead of a hazelnut one. The doctor soon arrived, sat down and took a sip from the glass. "What is this?!" He inquired.

"It's a hickory daiquiri doc!"

This guy goes into a restaurant for a Christmas breakfast while in his home town for the holidays. After looking over the menu he says, "I'll just have the eggs benedict." His order comes a while later and it's served on a huge fancy chrome plate. He asks the waiter, "What's with the fancy plate?"

The waiter replies, "There's no plate like chrome for the hollandaise!"

Technical difficulties

I have been experiencing some technical difficulties over the past month, hopefully I'll get more pictures on soon...

For B and M...

Starting with your old apartment on the right, down to freeway...

This drive made me soooooo miss our days of living sooooo close to each other (walking/biking distance for you, driving for us - ha ha!). It was too short of a time, but we have some of the best memories with you.

On a less sentimental note, do you even recognize this?!?!? I couldn't get my bearings, it was so different. I meant to go back during the day for a better view, but as with every trip, there was never enough time...

And just a little reminder of what you're not missing...

California trip

Andrew and I had a wonderful time in California. I relied on Diane to take most pictures, I snapped a few on my cheap camera and the battery was dead.

A big boy at his first Mexican restaurant...
In Mother's Market, where they have the best organic produce and the BEST restaurant! I could eat there every day.
Hey, who's taking my binkie out??
Traci getting a baby fix...
At Cheesecake Factory...
How old does your baby have to be before you can stop calling it "baby weight"???
Note: That was a rhetorical question only, please don't answer that!
Behind the umbrella, our old apple tree, Mike's first "baby"... He took such good care of it, I knew he'd be happy to see it's doing well!
