Lil Cowgirls

Daddy just got cowboy hats for the girls. As you can tell in many pictures, the girls love hats!

It's a bird! It's a plane! Really it is a plane. You know you live in the sticks when your kids get excited to hear an airplane flying overhead. In California you could see about 20 planes over your house at any given time. I guess it's nice that they have something to get excited about.

Baby smiles

Don't you love that little fleeting smile thing that babies do? I actually caught Andrew in the middle of one last night. No wonder he was so happy, he was snuggled up with his daddy.

We brush our teeth (finally)!

Cutie Patooties

"G" is for... "I" is for...

Here is one of the sharks, their score from the zoo...
I don't want my picture taken!

Sure I'm cute, but...

Just a reality check for my fellow females who, when seeing/smelling/hearing/holding a baby feel the urge to procreate, here's a reminder of the reality of all this cuteness: this is the 4th onesie Andrew has been in, and it's only 4:00! And, by the way, Mommy is in her 2nd top! Babies emit so much bodily fluid!
But, let's face it, they look/smell/sound/feel sweet!!!

Balloon Hats

Daddy took the girls to the zoo over the weekend where they got to pick out a balloon animal - they chose hats. They also got to choose a face painting. Isabella picked out a "happy", which is what she calls hearts (we don't know why, but it's so cute I can't correct her!) Apparently the artist thought she meant the happy face (makes sense) but Mike explained "happys" are hearts at our house. And in a day of big decisions (they also picked out which animals to ride on the merry-go-round, which is a BIG decision for these two), they also got to choose something from the gift shop. They decided on cheap (yippee!) plastic sharks that will be on a future post since they play with them in the bathtub.
