American Girl visit

 In October, my friend Gerilyn treated the girls (and me!) to an American Girl night in Chicago.  It is a special memory for all of us.  We got a two bedroom/two bathroom corner suite in a beautiful hotel right by the AG store and with beautiful views. 

The first surprise for the girls was the bed provided for each of their dolls.  They even got to take it home!  Oh, and the dolls and the girls each got a chocolate.

Then the food... 

Food glorious food from the Chicago Diner - the BEST food around in my opinion!

We're so lucky to have Gerilyn as our friend!

Girls!  Time to get up!  We're going to American Girl this morning!

We almost got out without this, but the girls talked me into a magazine cover shoot.  It did come out very cute!  Their freshly purchased pets made it into the photo too.
