A Major Award

I enter contests online every day, and for once I actually won something! It's not the dreamhouse giveaway on HGTV, but it's still something! Earth's Best had a contest for a baby's birth to one year journal and it showed up yesterday. I didn't even know I'd won!

I feel like the father on A Christmas Story when he wins the leg lamp - A MAJOR AWARD!!!
(I hope most of you remember the movie!)

I heart Target

I hate to say this, but I LOVE it when Target rips off Pottery Barn. I thought these towels were as cute as the ones from Pottery Barn Kids. They are $24 at PB, compared to $10.99 at Target.

Change her world

Mike and I feel quite blessed that it doesn't appear the girls are autistic. But we did go through a period of time where we were worried. They are both speech delayed and were developmentally delayed. Luckily where we are we have a great Early Intervention program that they are both still involved in. Speech Therapists and a Developmental Therapist come to our house to work with the girls, and they are in STEPS (early intervention) for 6 hours a week. Not only were we lucky to get them into the program, the state pays for most of it - it can be very expensive. All of this makes me very supportive of anything I can do to support Autism Speaks.

Anyway, my niece Nicole sent me this wonderful link - the band Five for Fighting donates money everytime this video is viewed.

Pizza Faces

Last night was a pizza night, I think the pictures are pretty self-expanatory. The girls LOVE pizza (and all Italian food so far)!

I am too easily amused...

I'm sure that the mere fact that I took the time to photograph and post this is proof positive that I am both too easily amused and that I don't get out enough. Both statements are true. But anyway, here goes...
My sweater came back from the dry cleaners like this:
Is this the cutest thing ever?!?! I've never gotten dry cleaning back in a box, it seems so 1940's-ish, like it should have a string wrapped around it to carry it. I love it!
C'mon, it's the little things in life...

No posts for a month...

I thought I'd finally explain my lack of posts for about a month. It seems I have been suffering from MORNING SICKNESS!

I'm pregnant!

12 weeks along...

Most of you know all we went through to get pregnant the first time, so this is quite a shock. But we're easing into the idea of it.

So for those of you who said you wondered what happened to me on here, there you have it!

I still have Christmas pictures to post, but it's such an overwhelming chore right now, all that typing! HA HA! Really I will do it soon. Before Valentine's Day maybe!

Pajama Head Girl

This is what I walked in and saw in the girls' room this morning: Gianna is my stylish girl, always doing something unexpected, ready to start a new trend.Pajama pants around the head, pajama tops around the waist. You heard it here first!!!These pajames are from Kelly and Dustin, the girls love them! Now I know it's because of how versatile they are!
