Andrew's Birthday

For Andrew's birthday, Isabella had the brilliant idea to follow one of Andrew's favorite books, "Happy Birthday, Little Pookie"!

 

One of the first things we did was have Pookie's birthday breakfast.

 Mike took Andrew to get a haircut while I got his Pookie breakfast ready.  Here he is when I let him open his eyes after sitting down.

He decided to try lemon...

Mike took him to the store to buy a balloon, as Pookie did.  Andrew chose one for each of his sisters too.

Gianna started regular horseback riding lessons this fall.  Here she is grooming Ruby.

Back to School

First was Andrew's first day.

Gianna's award

Gianna was student of the month in her class in May and was recognized in front of the school. The character trait for the month was "flexibility". I knew she was flexible at putting her feet over her eyes while laying on her tummy, but am proud of her for displaying flexibility in other ways!

Daisy Scouts

The girls had their last Daisy Scouts meeting in May.

  We did a bridging ceremony from Daisy Scouts to Brownies. 

This delicious cake was supposed to represent that!

 To celebrate their cookie-selling success, they got to go to a horseback riding lesson.
