Fairy Tale Ball - Year Two

I & G went to their second fairy tale ball Friday night. I didn't go crazy with pictures like I did last year (I think I took 200!) But I did take some before they went in...

They had such a good time!

They got to decorate tiaras, then put them in little "hat boxes" tied with ribbon for them to carry home.
They also had girly pink snacks, learned to waltz, and had a book about Princess Isabella read to them (Bella immediately turned around and said "Mom, she said my name!")

At the end they got to go home with these:

Which contained these!

Nature's Fleeting Beauty

A couple of the trees in our yard are this gorgeous pink, but only for a week or so a year. Each time the wind blows it looks like it's snowing pink, making me cringe at how much is lost with each gust. So I tried to save a moment of it...

at Grandma's and at the Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma's church...

I don't know what she's doing, but Isabella cracks me up in this picture!

Cool contest

Epiphanie is a company that makes super cute camera bags that look like purses. I am dying for one so that I will always have my camera with me. I miss so many moments, especially with my mom and the kids, that I didn't see coming and should have captured. Yesterday Andrew took a ride on Grandma's lap while Barb was pushing her wheelchair. I should have gotten a picture!!! Ah, someday I'll have one of these bags....

Anyway, the the most amazing contest is going on at Epiphanie. Click here to see it! You get a choice of prizes and they are both just incredible!!!

St. Patrick's Day

On St. Patrick's Day the girls hopped off the bus wearing these hats they had made. It totally caught me off guard and made me laugh. As I ran in for the camera, I wondered why I don't just bring the camera out every day!

Girls weekend at Grandma's

One of our recent roadtrips to Grandma's house...

How comfortable do the girls look? They had their shoes off and their blankies, computer games, drinks and snacks all within arms reach. I wanted to crawl back with them and have a snooze...

Check out the thing in Isabella's hand. It's a heart she made in preschool that she wanted to give to Grandma. I was the proud recipient of Gianna's, but not Bella's. Grandma has a special place in Bella's heart!!!

And Happy Joe's pizza... ummmmmmmm...
